The search is on for space in Cape Town – and the prices are rising.
Here at 17 on Loader Guest House in Cape Town, we are being inundated with enquiries. Interestingly enough though, is that a large percentage of enquiries are coming in from America.
Do they know something that we don’t?
Anyhow, time will tell, but for now – watch this space!
We recently commissioned SWEET DUDE to take some new pictures for us. Will preview them on the blog from time to time.
And with summer fever taking hold in Cape Town, and temperatures are rising in EVERY respect, why not come to our roof deck and enjoy a cold shower?

Prices are indeed rising, but we Guest House owners should be responsible in our approach to pricing. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to put Cape Town and South Africa on the tourist maps of the world, and keep visitors returning. Over- exploitation could spoli it for the future.
