Breakfast in de Waterkant.

With the new Cape Quarter Extension open and in full swing, 17 on Loader Guest House’s peeps have been doing some trolling around, to assess the early bird scene in and around the Village. Apart from the old stalwart breakfast spots, an amazing plethora of new places have sprung up. Some are plain mediocre, but then again, there are some real gems!

The most recent find was “Voila!” situated in the atrium of the new Cape Quarters. Now, have they got a great sense for a real breakfast with a difference? You bet. Divine tasting food, which is visually orgasmic as well! Try this one:

THE CONCORDE.

It tasted totally divine.

Other offerings included the “Veinnoise”, being a basket of delicious petite pastries; or the ‘Soldato” – soft-boiled eggs with toasted soldiers, with the recommended tea being bollywood chaipur.

Great coffee as well!

The service was absolutely perfect. But enough said, you have to get there to experience it for yourself.
