Twenty Nine Loader Street is conveniently situated within a 10 minute
walk to the city centre, the Cape Town International Convention Centre,
the V&A Waterfront, several health spas and some of Cape Town’s most popular restaurants and nightclubs. De Waterkant is considered to be a
safe area, and is patrolled by security guards 24 hours a day.

The area known as De Waterkant is well known for its unique,
original Cape Malay architecture, quaint, cobbled streets,
and many boutiques, coffee shops and delis to tempt even
the most discerning traveler’s tastes and palates.

The property has been extensively renovated over the past three
decades, and currently comprises three en-suite bedrooms,
a generous reception area, an extremely modern kitchen,
two courtyards and an exceptional roof deck. This deck provides
360 degree views of Cape Town city centre, Table mountain,
the distant Helderberg mountains, the busy harbour and Waterfront,
and of nearby Signal Hill.

The main, air-conditioned double bedroom, known as the
“Supreme Suite”, is extremely roomy with its own self contained kitchenette. In addition to access to the roof deck, this suite also boasts
its own private balcony overlooking De Waterkant village in the
foreground and the harbour in the background. The single room has
its own, private patio overlooking the rear courtyard with stairs
leading to the shared roof deck.

The house is presented in a Manhattan townhouse decorative
signature and as such the interior is slick and modern,
with contemporary accents forming part of the central,
African theme consistent throughout the house.

The property is either rented out as a fully self catering unit, or as an adjunct to the main Guest House, 17 on Loader, situated a few houses away. In the latter case, rooms are let out on a bed and breakfast basis.

ACCOMMODATION:
There are three bedrooms, comprising two double bedrooms
and one single room, all with their own en-suite bathrooms. Two
of the rooms have en-suite showers and the main room has both
an en-suite shower and separate bath. All linen and towels are 100%
pure white cotton of the highest quality, and only natural
bathroom products are used.

BREAKFAST:
The rates are calculated either on a self catering or bed and breakfast
basis, dependant on individual requirements. The bed and breakfast
rates include a continental breakfast each morning (7AM - 11AM)
which is served in a basket for guests to enjoy in their rooms,
the roof terrace, the front balcony or the dining room. Tea and coffee facilities and an honesty bar are also available.

Additional services and facilities include: a Wi-Fi zone at the main
house, cell phone rentals; airport transfers, restaurant and club
bookings, visitors' information and recommendations, car rentals,
tour bookings and itineraries, sun worshipping or star gazing
on the roof terrace, and fully catered private functions.
